ReceiptTax ("ReceiptTax," "we," "us") is developed by Esipick LLC. This policy explains what data the ReceiptTax app collects, how it's used, and your choices. ReceiptTax does not require an account and does not have user sign-in.

Receipts and photos stay on your device

When you scan a receipt, the photo and the text recognition that extracts the merchant, date, subtotal, tax and total happen entirely on your device using on-device text recognition. Receipt images, extracted text, categories and notes are stored only in the app's local database on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or have access to your receipt photos or receipt data.

What we collect

The only data associated with your use of ReceiptTax that leaves your device is your in-app purchase history, used to validate and manage your ReceiptTax Pro subscription. This is collected by Apple's App Store or Google Play and shared with our subscription provider, RevenueCat, to confirm your entitlement. This purchase data is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that track you across apps or websites. ReceiptTax has no ads.

Third-party services

• Apple App Store / Google Play — process your subscription payment and provide purchase receipts.
• RevenueCat — validates your purchase receipt and determines whether your device has an active ReceiptTax Pro entitlement. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Neither service receives your receipt photos, scanned text, or exported files.

Exports

When you export your receipts as a CSV or PDF, the file is generated on your device and handed to the iOS or Android share sheet. Where that file goes next — email, cloud storage, another app — is entirely your choice and outside ReceiptTax's control.

Data retention and deletion

Your receipts and preferences remain on your device until you delete them. You can delete everything at any time from Settings → Delete all data, or by uninstalling the app.

Children's privacy

ReceiptTax is rated 4+ and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

Because ReceiptTax stores data locally and does not maintain user accounts or server-side profiles, there is no personal data on our servers to access, export, or delete on your behalf. To manage or cancel your subscription, use your App Store or Google Play account settings. For any other question about this policy, contact us below.

We may update this policy as the app changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
